A Pantomime Theater with Peacock curtain -

These photos are of a wooden frame built to make the famous Peacock curtain work in model theater. The head of the bird sinks into the floor as the feathers of the tail split in the center, fold and also sink into the floor. As the curtain closes, the head and tail raise from the floor and the feathers meet again in the center. Click on each photo for large images. Thanks to Preben Engmann for allowing us to photograph his theater.
