Workshops of Interest
|
During
the fall, winter and spring months, and sometimes during summer events, hands-on
workshops are presented. These workshops range in time from an hour or two to a
couple days. They cover things from basic sewing skills to making period
clothing, various trade and craft skills, to survival in the wilderness in
period manners and farming in period manners.
Fritz and Kathleen Kannik have presented hands-on workshops in hand sewing,
tailoring, and fitting, and would
like to encourage others to attend and learn more about living history
interpretation through hands-on learning. |
Some of the workshops we know about, are listed below.
