Payment
Terms are on-line payment with most major
credit cards through PayPal; or mail order
with check or money order in US dollars, drawn on a US bank. There will be a
delay in processing orders paid by check, to allow check to properly clear.
Please Note: Minimum
order is $10.00, plus shipping!
If you have a special request for an item
that is less than $10.00, contact us and let us know the circumstances, and we
will work with you to meet your needs.
Terms and Shipping Policies:
Most orders ship within 3-7 days.
Our shopping cart will accept orders from the US, and
depending on current shipping circumstances, most
European countries. Australia and New Zealand may be blocked due to shipping
and health circumstances. If your country will not
process through our shopping cart, and you can meet the above requirements, please contact us with
information regarding your project, and we may consider an exception. Our
decisions are final.
We ship via US Postal Service First
Class, US Priority with Delivery Confirmation, or UPS, at our discretion. If
you have a particular need or preference, please contact us prior to placing
your order, so adjustments can be made for shipping charges.
International orders may be sent via
US Priority or First Class air mail, at our discretion, based on
weight, size and cost.
We will NOT deal through freight forwarding companies,
or companies or individuals in the US which will then ship to other
countries.
We reserve the right to only ship to confirmed PayPal
addresses, or addresses matching credit card address verification.
We reserve the right to refuse orders we deem as
potentially risky, or potentially fraudulent.
Our decisions are final. If we refuse an order, we will refund payment, if
any has been made.
We reserve the right to refuse future orders from that buyer.
These decisions are based on "red flags" for fraud and risk to both
our customers and Kannik's Korner.
INTERNATIONAL NOTE:
Due to the US Postal rate increases, and the changes
made in international mail service, we reserve the right to refuse
international orders, especially if the shipping charges collected by the
shopping cart will not cover the
cost. We also reserve the right to refuse to ship to countries with high
fraud incidents, or economic or political instability. We apologize for the possible inconvenience.
Taxes and/or Duty
All duties and/or foreign taxes are the responsibility of
the customer placing and/or receiving the order.
The customer assumes all responsibility of use, sales, duty,
value added or other taxes.
Sales tax is collected by our shopping cart for orders placed from or shipped to locations within Ohio.
If your state is charging use tax (similar to sales tax), keep track of your
untaxed online purchases so that you can report and pay the tax on your returns.
Be aware
that online sales are being tracked through credit card companies and other
payment processors, who are, in turn, now responsible to report those sales
to the US Government, and potentially other governments.
Kannik's Korner will not assume such costs.
Returns or Exchanges
No returns are accepted for model theater sheets, unless they are shipped to
the buyer with a prior agreement for approval, or obviously damaged in
shipping. If items are damaged in shipping, please keep the shipping
carton, so you/we can address this with the shipping company.
No returns are accepted for patterns, books, cross stitch
kits or charts, unless there is a problem with the item. Please contact us
with any issues, and we will attempt to resolve the issue.
Returns or exchanges will
only be accepted within 30 days of the original order date and must be in
re-saleable condition. All sales are final after 30 days. A 10% re-stocking
fee will be made on returns. No refund of shipping
charges will be made.
All returns or exchanges
require a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA), which you can acquire by e-mailing us with a simple
explanation of your problem or need for return. This authorization must be
included with any correspondence and the returned package for processing or
credit.
Some model theater sheets are "antiques"
and others are already aging, and close to becoming "antiques". Some of the
modern reprinted sheets appear aged, because they are taken directly from
original sheets. Minor dogging of the edges may occur, but we will not ship
sheets that are torn or damaged in the printed area without a prior
understanding (such as with an antique sheet). Please read the descriptions
and classification of antique or rare sheets.
Suitability & Guarantees
No guarantees are made as to the suitability of
our products for your purpose.
If you have
questions about our publications, contact us prior to ordering and we will
try to assist you with more information.
No guarantees are made beyond the
replacement or refund of an item, as defined above.
We are not liable for any use
or misuse of any item, nor for any costs or damages incurred through any use
of the item or items.
Model Theater Note:
Please be aware that there may be small
parts, which are unsuitable for small children, especially after the printed
figures have been mounted and or cut out. Keep them away from small children
and pets. Keep all craft knives and pastes away from small children, as
well. Keep your theater activities safe for your family and friends!
